All-Inclusive Packages

Dates & rates

Birdtail Waterfowl operates from early September to early November in the Prairie Potholes and south basin of Lake Manitoba. We cater to Resident, Non-Resident (Canadian), and Foreign Resident hunters. Our three-day and four-day guided waterfowl hunts are designed to maximize hunting time and value.

Our hours of operation are weekdays from 8am until 4pm. We are also available 24 hours/day, 7 days/week by appointment.

Canadian residents can purchase a Migratory Game Bird Hunting Permit before leaving home. It can be purchased online and is payable by credit card. In response to the question about the nearest town, answer: Ask Paul at paul@birdtailwaterfowl.com.

For foreign residents, new regulations apply as of 2023. As a result, Paul will purchase licences on your behalf. These will be ready at the lodge upon your arrival. Please remember to fill out the Trip Information Form before you arrive so that we have all required information. Licence costs will be added to your final bill.

Please keep copies of your licence(s) on your person while hunting.

We work hard to exceed your expectations. Gratuities of 20% are encouraged if you’ve enjoyed your hunt with us.
