To all who have been on a Sandhill Crane hunt with us you understand our predicament.
In Manitoba guides are not allowed to carry a firearm useless your hunting those wossy white bears or something.. Not cool when hunting Sandhills. With all respect to the Sandhill Cranes they are mean SOB’s when crippled.
When chasing downed birds it can get pretty hairy.
So after a hunt last year one of our guys had a brilliant idea after watching us pull our camo off and throwing it on the birds so we can dispatch..
So here is the tool we thought would work the best… Needless to say this should be interesting….
When talking about waterfowl hunting in Manitoba the conversation always swings in the direction of the opportunities we have, which leaves us looking spoiled, which we are. Manitoba is the Canadian hunting destination.
