My son and I went to the guide cabin to haul more equipment up to the new lodge and found this fawn.
Reid got a lesson he would never get if he was not coming to work with his Dad all the time this winter.
Sad but it’s real – life and death. He took it well and thought we should bring it back for steaks. When I hear that I get worried he’s spending too much time with Dad.
We still have over 2′ of snow on the fields but the frost is not deep. Great combo because we were really dry last fall.
A good recharge for the potholes will help our breading season coming.
The lodge is almost finished and the cabins are looking good but they will be 2 weeks late. My goal was to have them finished by June 30th. I have the Amish guys building them and with the winter being so long they are behind.
This build has been like a roller coaster and your in the front row and its not going to stop for a while.
Going to be great but man oh man this is not the do it your self picnic table assemble.
