In Manitoba there is some fine waterfowl operations and we are very proud to be amongst them. This fall Travel Manitoba came to the lodge and filmed a Destination Spotlight on Birdtail to show what makes us unique. It was a honor to be showcased in this regard and I feel this short film captured us and who we really are.
Waterfowl outfitting at the level we are at is extremely challenging but it all comes down to who you are surrounded by, you need to be amongst the best of the best with work ethic like no other. With media broadcasting in the manor they do now a days and the impact of social media on everyone can lead you into feeling that society is half empty place of positive good people. This business was built on good people that could see our goal and wanted to help. There is many behind our success from family, staff, guests, farmers, meat shop owner, welders, electricians, plumbers, grocers, accountants and our four legged partners. Birdtail Waterfowl is a Canadian waterfowl hunting lodge that was built for our guests not the owner, it is to give the return that we the staff would expect.
