Without a doubt submerged and floating aquatics ruled 3/4 of our duck hunting.
With being located in Canada’s number one areas for the highest pothole densities this option of food source made it challenging for us…
Did we capitalize? Well we did and we didn’t but as a believer that perfect is attainable we came close but not a 100%.
Our guides could not have done a better job in the potholes but I feel they were limited in regards to equipment..
From day one Birdtail Waterfowl’s bread and butter has been field hunting and truly always will be but…. This past season really thought me that it’s time to ace our pothole hunts equipment wise for those times we are forced to go to water..
We are a unique set of talented individuals that have extremely high expectations on our selves to produce big.
My job as the waterfowl “quarterback” is to insure the avenues are in place to capitalize on our world class resource where ever they hang.
