Took the day off a couple weeks a go to hunt some Manitoba turkeys with my Dad Mike Conchatre.
Great hunt but the weather was far from optimal for calling.. I can’t tell you how many hunts I have been on for different species and come to the conclusion that silence is the answer..
Most of us are so clouded by marketing companies and have been led to believe that the bought “product” gets us our trophies.. So not true – scouting and patterning is the weapon.. Just take all the variables handed to you by mother nature and make your hunt location a good one. The number one rule is don’t disrupt their environmental habits.
